Cremation Services
Here at Tufts Schildmeyer we operate our own state of the art cremation facility that is impeccably clean and secure. We are licensed and regulated by the State of Ohio, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), Cremation Association of North America (CANA), and the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.

Tufts Schildmeyer adheres to strict standards such as the Cremation Code of Ethics by CANA, Certified Operators, Licensed Personnel, and the encouragement of a family's personal inspection. We offer special "witnessing" in our crematory that allow family members to be present at the start of the cremation process. We follow a strict tracking system that ensures each cremation is done without errors. We constantly monitor our tracking system and continue to maintain an A plus rating.

Aftercare Services
Our “caring tradition” for families does not end with the service. Attention to detail continues with follow-up calls, document processing and other family concerns.

Each November, loved ones and family members are remembered in a special “Coping During The Holidays” program. Presented by a staff of bereavement professionals, validation of your loss, fellowship with others and helpful suggestions for coping with these difficult days are offered.

Shipping Services
If death occurs away from home, Tufts Schildmeyer shipping services can arrange all the details for you in any location on the continent and around the world. 

We can also make the necessary arrangements for burial in a distant city. There is no need for you to travel to that city for the purpose of handling the details.
